Narrative:
I had planned to make a flight from microphone-lvn. I had requested a clearance into class B airspace of msp. After receiving squawk code and departure frequency, I departed microphone. Upon climb out, I had contacted msp departure. At this point I was not receiving very good reception on my radio. Along with that, I believe there was another aircraft off frequency with a similar tail number. When trying to establish communication with departure, I had traveled into class B airspace. Finally communications with departure were established and I was instructed to exit class B airspace. Instead of trying so much to get the radios to work correctly, I should have paid closer attention to my direction of flight.

Title: PLT ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT CLRNC.
Narrative: I HAD PLANNED TO MAKE A FLT FROM MIC-LVN. I HAD REQUESTED A CLRNC INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE OF MSP. AFTER RECEIVING SQUAWK CODE AND DEP FREQ, I DEPARTED MIC. UPON CLBOUT, I HAD CONTACTED MSP DEP. AT THIS POINT I WAS NOT RECEIVING VERY GOOD RECEPTION ON MY RADIO. ALONG WITH THAT, I BELIEVE THERE WAS ANOTHER ACFT OFF FREQ WITH A SIMILAR TAIL NUMBER. WHEN TRYING TO ESTABLISH COM WITH DEP, I HAD TRAVELED INTO CLASS B AIRSPACE. FINALLY COMS WITH DEP WERE ESTABLISHED AND I WAS INSTRUCTED TO EXIT CLASS B AIRSPACE. INSTEAD OF TRYING SO MUCH TO GET THE RADIOS TO WORK CORRECTLY, I SHOULD HAVE PAID CLOSER ATTN TO MY DIRECTION OF FLT.
