Narrative:
Upon postflt inspection a small dent was discovered below the cargo door on the aft fuselage. Because the dent was out of limits the question was raised as to when the dent was created. It is our contention that the dent was not present prior to our previous departure. The damage was discovered as we turned the aircraft over to the next crew. We informed maintenance and the next crew agreed to make the write-up.
