B747-400 #1 engine ground contact on landing at hong kong. After a stable approach and in the flare, the left wing lowered, which was corrected for immediately. A postflt by 3 different people did not notice any damage. After the next leg with a different crew, damage was noted. Problem arose in hkg with very strong and gusty crosswind conditions, rainy with a wet runway. Damage was discovered on postflt of following leg. Factors affecting human performance: only 115 hours in type, 2 lndgs in past 60 days, training in B747-400 was done at 25 degrees flap lndgs, company policy now 30 degrees flap lndgs with no training. Conditions: runway 7 wet. Winds 010 - 360 degrees at 18 KTS, gusting to 25 KTS. Raining. 240000 KG landing weight. 22000 KG fuel.
