Narrative:
On descent into oak, received traffic call from ZOA at 2 O'clock, climbing to our altitude. Approximately 10 seconds later, and with no visual contact, we received a TCASII alert, then RA to descend. The captain disengaged the autoplt and started a descent. At 10600 ft MSL, the conflict was over and we notified ATC of our altitude deviation and climbed back to 11000 ft. We continued to oak for an uneventful landing.
