Narrative:
While taxiing in to the gate at dtw, allegedly the jetblast from my aircraft caused a piece of ground equipment to damage an aircraft parked at the adjacent concourse. Supplemental information from acn 418869: the ramp area near our gate is very tight and congested, requiring wing walkers and a marshaller. During the directed turn-in, the aircraft started to slow, so the captain added power to the right engine (it was a right turn-in) to complete the turn. No stop signals were given until final parking spot. After deplaning aircraft, we were informed of aircraft damage behind us. Contributing factors: I had not been to dtw before and I am new to this aircraft type. I was not aware of the taxi problems in that alleyway. It was also XA00 and had flown an all-nighter the previous evening, having arrived in atl at XE00 followed by a 9 hour crew rest.

Title: B767 JETBLAST ON TAXI IN TO A GATE CAUSED A PIECE OF GND EQUIP TO DAMAGE A PARKED ACFT ON AN ADJACENT GATE.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING IN TO THE GATE AT DTW, ALLEGEDLY THE JETBLAST FROM MY ACFT CAUSED A PIECE OF GND EQUIP TO DAMAGE AN ACFT PARKED AT THE ADJACENT CONCOURSE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 418869: THE RAMP AREA NEAR OUR GATE IS VERY TIGHT AND CONGESTED, REQUIRING WING WALKERS AND A MARSHALLER. DURING THE DIRECTED TURN-IN, THE ACFT STARTED TO SLOW, SO THE CAPT ADDED PWR TO THE R ENG (IT WAS A R TURN-IN) TO COMPLETE THE TURN. NO STOP SIGNALS WERE GIVEN UNTIL FINAL PARKING SPOT. AFTER DEPLANING ACFT, WE WERE INFORMED OF ACFT DAMAGE BEHIND US. CONTRIBUTING FACTORS: I HAD NOT BEEN TO DTW BEFORE AND I AM NEW TO THIS ACFT TYPE. I WAS NOT AWARE OF THE TAXI PROBS IN THAT ALLEYWAY. IT WAS ALSO XA00 AND HAD FLOWN AN ALL-NIGHTER THE PREVIOUS EVENING, HAVING ARRIVED IN ATL AT XE00 FOLLOWED BY A 9 HR CREW REST.
