Narrative:

On nov/xa/98 while en route from springfield, mo, to williamsport, PA, at FL370 in ZKC's control, we were given a 10 degree turn. After being established on the heading, we were given another 15 degree turn to the same direction. We were never informed that there was a conflict or advised that we had done something wrong by ATC. It has now come out that our flight is being inquired by the FAA on a possible aircraft conflict situation. We do not understand why there weren't any references made regarding a problem by ATC if something actually was close. In addition, we are now open to litigation by the FAA for something we didn't even know we had done wrong. I believe if there actually was a problem, ATC would have advised us at the appropriate time.

Title: FLC OF A C550 LEARNED AFTER THE FLT THAT THE FAA WAS INVESTIGATING THE FLT FOR INVOLVEMENT IN A CONFLICT WITH A LEAR JET 25. HOWEVER, THE RPTRS HAVE NO RECOLLECTION OF A PROB EXCEPT FOR THINKING THAT IT WAS UNUSUAL DURING THE CLB IN IMC TO BE GIVEN 2 HDG CHANGES AFTER BEING ESTABLISHED ON THEIR ASSIGNED HDG.
