Narrative:

I hope that the attached information is considered before any military fire suppressant foam is installed in commercial or civil aircraft. Although the documents pertain to the F15, they also contain valuable information with regards to fuel contamination resulting from the early decomposition of baffle and inerting material. A flaw exists in the qualification procedure which has led to near disaster. As of 1997, the military is utilizing the 4TH type of foam. Like the previous 3 types, I predict that it will also deteriorate yrs before its designed life. Installing fire suppressant foam in commercial aircraft is an accident waiting to happen.
