Narrative:

Following takeoff socal gave us a right turn but she was 'stepped on.' we asked her to repeat and she gave us 060 degrees 6000 ft, followed by no less than 4 TA's. We got a TCASII alert. I (captain) selected the autoplt on and altitude select (6000 ft) on so I could focus on traffic outside. We were informed that we were approaching 7000 ft and had broken our assigned altitude. Both altimeters were indicating 6000 ft. We were on an IFR flight plan from crq to bos. Subsequently, on our climb, we determined that we had a static problem affecting multiple instruments. We diverted to phx and found a static line not connected. We had the static line fixed and continued to bos uneventfully.
