Narrative:
I didn't notice anything unsafe or different during climb out, because the aircraft didn't perform any sharp or unusual maneuvers. After we completed the food service, the captain called us in the first class galley and told us about the near miss at 4000 ft during climb out from sjc. That's the only time we actually knew something had happened. We landed without incident in chicago at our scheduled arrival time.
