Narrative:
I performed a repair on #1 engine nose cowl that had been blended out due to cracks in paint. I was instructed to paint the repair area by my crew chief. I applied the yellow primer and then applied the paint. I was later informed that anti-static was to have been applied.

Title: A B767-200 WAS DISPATCHED WITH THE #1 ENG INLET NOSE COWL REPAIRED INCORRECTLY.
Narrative: I PERFORMED A REPAIR ON #1 ENG NOSE COWL THAT HAD BEEN BLENDED OUT DUE TO CRACKS IN PAINT. I WAS INSTRUCTED TO PAINT THE REPAIR AREA BY MY CREW CHIEF. I APPLIED THE YELLOW PRIMER AND THEN APPLIED THE PAINT. I WAS LATER INFORMED THAT ANTI-STATIC WAS TO HAVE BEEN APPLIED.
