Narrative:
Approach control cleared us to switch to tower, fast decelerating visual. Captain's radio failed during landing phase. Landed without clearance. After radio #2 tuned, contacted ground, no problems. Captain was not flying and should have realized no landing clearance given, but got busy. Radio failing in close, no help.

Narrative: APCH CTL CLRED US TO SWITCH TO TWR, FAST DECELERATING VISUAL. CAPT'S RADIO FAILED DURING LNDG PHASE. LANDED WITHOUT CLRNC. AFTER RADIO #2 TUNED, CONTACTED GND, NO PROBS. CAPT WAS NOT FLYING AND SHOULD HAVE REALIZED NO LNDG CLRNC GIVEN, BUT GOT BUSY. RADIO FAILING IN CLOSE, NO HELP.
