On climb out of grand forks, nd, a passenger appeared to be having a stroke. We declared a medical emergency and returned to gfk. We landed at 100000 pounds (1000 pounds over maximum landing weight) with a 300 FPM rate of descent with a normal touchdown. After paramedics assisted and removed our ill passenger, maintenance reviewed and signed off our logbook and we continued on to our destination, msp. All other operations normal.
