Narrative:
Child burned by coffee. Purser told me that a 7 month old boy had been burned over the right shoulder and right armpit. 2 physicians on board concurred that the treatment the flight attendants were giving was correct. Requested the airplane be met by medical personnel upon arrival. The child was taken to hospital.

Title: B767 ENRTE TO JFK. PAX CHILD BURNED BY HOT COFFEE.
Narrative: CHILD BURNED BY COFFEE. PURSER TOLD ME THAT A 7 MONTH OLD BOY HAD BEEN BURNED OVER THE R SHOULDER AND R ARMPIT. 2 PHYSICIANS ON BOARD CONCURRED THAT THE TREATMENT THE FLT ATTENDANTS WERE GIVING WAS CORRECT. REQUESTED THE AIRPLANE BE MET BY MEDICAL PERSONNEL UPON ARR. THE CHILD WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL.
