Narrative:
Lost radio, could not land or enter mia airspace, circled west. Decided to land at non controled opf west. Noticed 'X' on runway 9/27. Did not see 'X' on runway 18/36. Landed, greeted by airport authority/authorized. Told them I had radio problems and would leave when I figured it out. Could not find problem. It was intermittent. 15 mins later, took off, flew back to mlb. Radio worked for landing at mlb. Found wire broken in quick disconnect. Corrective action: don't know. I feel it was safer to stay outside TCA and land rather than land NORDO in TCA. Did not know airfield was closed.
