Narrative:
I called pnm flight service for WX and NOTAMS for the wadena airport. The NOTAMS I received were 1) new asphalt runway 16/34, 2) lights and activation methods, 3) the runway had been plowed. I departed and landed at the wadena airport as depicted on cf-17 VFR WAC chart good till aug/xa/99. This chart depicts the airport to the east of the city. I circled and saw the sign wadena municipal airport, then I went in for a landing. Upon landing, the runway was unplowed and I had to have the runway plowed prior to takeoff. After landing, I discovered that they built a new airport west of town not on charts yet. I then called FSS to again request the NOTAMS for wadena and this specialist told me the same previous ones with an additional one that he thought the airport might be moved but don't hold him to it. I informed him that it had indeed been moved. There seems to be some confusion as to the moving of this airport as the first specialist omitted it and the second wasn't sure. I have spoken to a member of the board who said they will be taking down the signs and buildings at the old airport and reissuing a NOTAM for it.

Title: A PA31T CHEYENNE II PLT LANDS AT THE OLD 64Y ARPT E OF TOWN. THE ARPT HAD BEEN 'MOVED' TO THE W OF TOWN AND WAS NOT INDICATED THERE ON THE VFR WAC CHART.
Narrative: I CALLED PNM FLT SVC FOR WX AND NOTAMS FOR THE WADENA ARPT. THE NOTAMS I RECEIVED WERE 1) NEW ASPHALT RWY 16/34, 2) LIGHTS AND ACTIVATION METHODS, 3) THE RWY HAD BEEN PLOWED. I DEPARTED AND LANDED AT THE WADENA ARPT AS DEPICTED ON CF-17 VFR WAC CHART GOOD TILL AUG/XA/99. THIS CHART DEPICTS THE ARPT TO THE E OF THE CITY. I CIRCLED AND SAW THE SIGN WADENA MUNICIPAL ARPT, THEN I WENT IN FOR A LNDG. UPON LNDG, THE RWY WAS UNPLOWED AND I HAD TO HAVE THE RWY PLOWED PRIOR TO TKOF. AFTER LNDG, I DISCOVERED THAT THEY BUILT A NEW ARPT W OF TOWN NOT ON CHARTS YET. I THEN CALLED FSS TO AGAIN REQUEST THE NOTAMS FOR WADENA AND THIS SPECIALIST TOLD ME THE SAME PREVIOUS ONES WITH AN ADDITIONAL ONE THAT HE THOUGHT THE ARPT MIGHT BE MOVED BUT DON'T HOLD HIM TO IT. I INFORMED HIM THAT IT HAD INDEED BEEN MOVED. THERE SEEMS TO BE SOME CONFUSION AS TO THE MOVING OF THIS ARPT AS THE FIRST SPECIALIST OMITTED IT AND THE SECOND WASN'T SURE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO A MEMBER OF THE BOARD WHO SAID THEY WILL BE TAKING DOWN THE SIGNS AND BUILDINGS AT THE OLD ARPT AND REISSUING A NOTAM FOR IT.
