Narrative:
Clear air turbulence -- severe. I made a PA warning passenger to make sure seatbelts were fastened, holding on to handholds on galley partitions. I saw a passenger on the floor in the rear of the aircraft between the lavatories. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that the passenger apparently just lost his balance coming out of the lavatory. He was quite embarrassed because he split his pants. He was, however, quickly assisted into a seat. No injuries.
