Narrative:
On feb/xx/99, departed XA00 lake havasu city, az, hii, flew up the colorado river to needles VOR. Open my flight plan with riverside radio 122.2. Fly C172A then contacted ZLA for transponder code. My destination is fox airport wjf lancaster, ca, flying a heading 255 degrees to the west and found myself in a MOA military operation, not knowing it was active. The controller gave me different heading to the point that I told her I was getting confused, trying to fly the airplane and read the charts to get out of area. After a few heading she told me to contact ZLA when I get to fox airport, wjf lancaster, ca. Closed flight plan arriving fox airport. Called ZLA. Talked to the man at the center about what happened in that area and he said I would receive a letter or be contacted about the airspace I entered. I feel like I should have some warning when I first contacted ZLA out of needles VOR.

Narrative: ON FEB/XX/99, DEPARTED XA00 LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ, HII, FLEW UP THE COLORADO RIVER TO NEEDLES VOR. OPEN MY FLT PLAN WITH RIVERSIDE RADIO 122.2. FLY C172A THEN CONTACTED ZLA FOR XPONDER CODE. MY DEST IS FOX ARPT WJF LANCASTER, CA, FLYING A HDG 255 DEGS TO THE W AND FOUND MYSELF IN A MOA MIL OP, NOT KNOWING IT WAS ACTIVE. THE CTLR GAVE ME DIFFERENT HEADING TO THE POINT THAT I TOLD HER I WAS GETTING CONFUSED, TRYING TO FLY THE AIRPLANE AND READ THE CHARTS TO GET OUT OF AREA. AFTER A FEW HEADING SHE TOLD ME TO CONTACT ZLA WHEN I GET TO FOX ARPT, WJF LANCASTER, CA. CLOSED FLT PLAN ARRIVING FOX ARPT. CALLED ZLA.
