Mechanic wxvv received a part from technician crew chief ykxx to replace a yaw damper servo on aircraft xyz. On the following night, feb/xa/99, I came in to work to find out that the wrong part had been installed.

Title: A B767-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE, WITH THE INCORRECT PART INSTALLED, IN THE LOWER YAW DAMPER SERVO POS.
Narrative: MECH WXVV RECEIVED A PART FROM TECHNICIAN CREW CHIEF YKXX TO REPLACE A YAW DAMPER SERVO ON ACFT XYZ. ON THE FOLLOWING NIGHT, FEB/XA/99, I CAME IN TO WORK TO FIND OUT THAT THE WRONG PART HAD BEEN INSTALLED.
