Narrative:
On approach to a 1680 ft turf runway, the aircraft touched down, brakes were applied but were completely useless on the wet grass. The aircraft skidded off the departure end of the runway about 4 ft into a farmer's field. The aircraft was pushed out of the mud, inspected and no damage was found. A rejected landing was not a safe option given the situation.
