Narrative:
ATC facility: ZFW. Location: TTT 094 degree radial. Passing through FL210 for FL230, climbing at approximately 1500 FPM, received a revised clearance to level off at FL210. Of course in this situation, we went up to approximately FL213, then back down to FL210. Controller gave extremely late altitude revision instructions. Observed no immediate conflicts traffic. Supplemental information from acn 428690: we went up to just below FL213, then immediately back down to FL210 to not alarm passenger.
