Narrative:
While flying as sic, my PIC directed me to deviate from ATC clearance. ATC questioned our route of flight and reprimanded us for not adhering to our clearance. The PIC, while having flown this route before, had been given direct routing after zimmr intersection to rks airport and assumed this was a normal occurrence. The cause of this situation was due to the arrogance of the PIC who constantly blames others for his mistakes and will not accept input from other crew members. He is a 'know-it-all' and needs some CRM training. This is the kind of behavior that CRM training hopefully would prevent.

Title: FO IS DIRECTED BY HIS PIC TO TURN OFF ASSIGNED RTE. FLC REPRIMANDED BY ATC AND PIC BLAMES OTHERS FOR THEIR ACTIONS. FO CONCERNED WITH PIC'S ARROGANCE.
Narrative: WHILE FLYING AS SIC, MY PIC DIRECTED ME TO DEVIATE FROM ATC CLRNC. ATC QUESTIONED OUR RTE OF FLT AND REPRIMANDED US FOR NOT ADHERING TO OUR CLRNC. THE PIC, WHILE HAVING FLOWN THIS RTE BEFORE, HAD BEEN GIVEN DIRECT ROUTING AFTER ZIMMR INTXN TO RKS ARPT AND ASSUMED THIS WAS A NORMAL OCCURRENCE. THE CAUSE OF THIS SIT WAS DUE TO THE ARROGANCE OF THE PIC WHO CONSTANTLY BLAMES OTHERS FOR HIS MISTAKES AND WILL NOT ACCEPT INPUT FROM OTHER CREW MEMBERS. HE IS A 'KNOW-IT-ALL' AND NEEDS SOME CRM TRAINING. THIS IS THE KIND OF BEHAVIOR THAT CRM TRAINING HOPEFULLY WOULD PREVENT.
