Narrative:
Pointout from jxn sector air carrier Y direct gsh at FL200. 30 seconds later, jxn sector approves air carrier Y climb to FL220. I approve FL220. A short time later, I descend air carrier X from FL210 to 14000 ft, direct mizar. Jxn radar asks if I'm descending air carrier X. I turned to a 180 degree heading. Loss of separation occurs. An oversight on my part, I guess.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: ZOB CTLR APPROVES TRANSITIONING B737 THROUGH HIS SECTOR, THEN DSNDS A DC10, WHICH CONFLICTS WITH THE B737. WHEN JXN CTL SECTOR QUESTIONS THE RPTR, HE ISSUES VECTORS, WHICH ARE INSUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN LEGAL SEPARATION.
Narrative: POINTOUT FROM JXN SECTOR ACR Y DIRECT GSH AT FL200. 30 SECONDS LATER, JXN SECTOR APPROVES ACR Y CLB TO FL220. I APPROVE FL220. A SHORT TIME LATER, I DSND ACR X FROM FL210 TO 14000 FT, DIRECT MIZAR. JXN RADAR ASKS IF I'M DSNDING ACR X. I TURNED TO A 180 DEG HDG. LOSS OF SEPARATION OCCURS. AN OVERSIGHT ON MY PART, I GUESS.
