Narrative:
Contacted by maintenance that some movement of the left inboard flap was seen (slow/jerky). I issued a set-up to inspect a zerk fitting on the flap track and lube. The findings were flap vane release broken and roller bracket and roller end had pulled through its mount, and cable in vane actuator was found broken. All events were uneventful with no follow-up involved.
