Narrative:
Upon takeoff, my crew and myself could smell an electrical burning smell throughout the cabin. I, as the purser, informed the captain of the situation, who in turn called air traffic controller to declare an emergency and return back to jfk as soon as possible. Flight returned back to jfk safely with no need to evacuate/evacuation.

Title: A FLT ATTENDANT ON BOARD AN A300 RPTS THAT AFTER TKOF AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL WAS NOTED BY THE CABIN CREW. WHEN NOTIFIED, THE CAPT TURNED BACK TO THE ARPT FOR A PRECAUTIONARY LNDG.
Narrative: UPON TKOF, MY CREW AND MYSELF COULD SMELL AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL THROUGHOUT THE CABIN. I, AS THE PURSER, INFORMED THE CAPT OF THE SIT, WHO IN TURN CALLED AIR TFC CTLR TO DECLARE AN EMER AND RETURN BACK TO JFK ASAP. FLT RETURNED BACK TO JFK SAFELY WITH NO NEED TO EVAC.
