Narrative:
Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that the B757 lost an engine and could not continue on into the mountainous area to land. Mechanics attempted to fix the engine but were unable. Another aircraft was located and the flight completed. They were on the ground for about 2 hours.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING A B757 WHICH LOST AN ENG INFLT AND DIVERTED FOR MAINT.
Narrative: CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: RPTR STATES THAT THE B757 LOST AN ENG AND COULD NOT CONTINUE ON INTO THE MOUNTAINOUS AREA TO LAND. MECHS ATTEMPTED TO FIX THE ENG BUT WERE UNABLE. ANOTHER ACFT WAS LOCATED AND THE FLT COMPLETED. THEY WERE ON THE GND FOR ABOUT 2 HRS.
