Narrative:
Encountered moderate chop with autoplt on in performance mode. Selected mach select .75. Several mins later, altitude alert sounded. Aircraft was at FL312 and climbing 100 FPM. Returned aircraft to FL310. No comment from ATC. No known traffic conflict.
