Narrative:
I was en route to fresno from mamoth lakes VOR 023 degree radial when the ceiling dropped, causing me to navigation below radio contact and NAVAID contact to remain VFR. The ceiling continued to drop as I circled over a good place to land. I requested radio relay on 121.5 for assistance. I was assisted out of the area with vectors provided as control center and fat tower was able. Many controllers came to assist as well. The event was successful in assisting me to the fat airport without incident.
