Narrative:
During boarding, a foreign passenger demanded a smoking seat. Y class flight attendants explained there was no smoking permitted. He raised his voice in disapproval and demanded his seat be changed for a smoking area. We further explained there was no smoking anywhere on the plane. I was called to handle the situation. I repeated what he had heard before and with that he began yelling in the middle of the Y class what a horrible airline we were. His actions were not that of a normal person and I got close enough to smell heavy alcohol on his breath. I had the agents escort him off the plane. On the jetbridge, I explained that his actions demonstrated that he was intoxicated and it was against the law to transport a passenger known to be intoxicated. I explained to him that it was for his protection that I was refusing him. I explained that if his action continued that way in-flight we would have to have him arrested. With that he began to remove his jacket and want to fight me. I asked the agents to escort him off the jetbridge. Before he left, he said he hoped the plane would go down. I told him that his statement was further proof that it was safer for him to go to a hotel rather than be arrested on the plane. We left with no delay and no further problems.
