Narrative:
Flight attendant reported ill passenger. Had doctor on board assist. I personally went back to check on passenger and ask doctor if we needed to land prior to our scheduled time. Doctor indicated that we did not have to divert. Called dispatch, they concurred to have paramedics meet the aircraft at mia. Upon arrival, no paramedics were at gate. Called mia ramp control but they gave me a hard time and refused to call paramedics to gate. I called ground and had them call paramedics. Reported incident to chief pilot. Stayed with #1 flight attendant and passenger until taken off aircraft about 45 mins later. See #1 flight attendant's report for additional information.
