Narrative:
First officer was PF over buf on spica arrival into dtw. We were expected to fly the 267 degree radial off of buf until intercepting the 094 degree inbound to yqo. I tuned the yqo radial and VOR. The first officer kept buf tuned, but mistakenly tuned the 309 eeg radial. This is the radial off the eri VOR as shown on the same arrival page. I did not catch the mistake as ATC asked us if we had turned to fly the 267 degree radial. ATC vectored us back to course. Reason for error: simple inattn. The first officer read the wrong radial. I failed to lean across the cockpit and confirm what he had dialed into the CDI. We were experiencing significant drift, and combined with the fact I had a different VOR and a crossing radial tuned, I did not notice the 30 degree error in heading out of buffalo. ATC recognized the ground track error and gave us headings back to course.

Title: THE FLC OF A TWIN ENG TURBOJET TRACKED OUT OF A VOR ON THE WRONG RADIAL WHILE PERFORMING A STAR.
Narrative: FO WAS PF OVER BUF ON SPICA ARR INTO DTW. WE WERE EXPECTED TO FLY THE 267 DEG RADIAL OFF OF BUF UNTIL INTERCEPTING THE 094 DEG INBOUND TO YQO. I TUNED THE YQO RADIAL AND VOR. ATC RECOGNIZED THE GND TRACK ERROR AND GAVE US HDGS BACK TO COURSE.
