Narrative:
In cruise the aircraft shook several times and the right engine quit. Flight attendants reported loud bangs from the right engine heard in the aft cabin. We completed all checklists applicable and landed 4400 pounds overweight at phl. Time on single engine about 18 mins. An emergency was declared and made a full stop on the runway for a visual inspection by the emergency equipment.
