Narrative:
When landing gear selector was put down we received left landing gear unsafe warning. The left gear light was blank. We performed all QRH procedures and still had no left gear light and left landing gear unsafe. We notified our company and declared emergency with ATC. We landed at airport -- the gear held like normal. Maintenance put gear pins in and we taxied to the gate.
