Narrative:

Passenger was smoking the aft lavatory and as soon as he came out the lavatory, another crew member and myself smelled the cigarette smoke. The purser approached the passenger asking him if he was smoking. The passenger denied the whole situation, stating that he did not smoke. On our arrival in sju, passenger service met the flight and confronted the passenger, meanwhile the passenger denied the whole situation. Also upon landing, during active taxi-in, the passenger stood up and proceeded to open overhead bin, endangering the lives of other passenger. Also, his friend proceeded to complain to the purser that he was 'ruining' their vacation by causing trouble. The passenger's friend also called the purser a '%$&#@ scumbag.' I personally think this passenger should be pressed with charges, due to the fact that his attitude was very offensive and was very rude to the purser. Apparently, I think the passenger either hid the cigarettes or gave them to one of his friends. Our main concern was the fact that he could have thrown the cigarette anywhere in the lavatory, which could have caused fire if it was not put out properly. Also, the smoke detector did not work, since the lavatory was smoky once he came out of the lavatory. My whole concern was his rude, better than thou, you can't do anything to me attitude. P.south. If we are going to enforce rules we must have the proper channels to back us up.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, A300, JFK-SJU, PAX SMOKING IN LAVATORY, ABUSIVE LANGUAGE TOWARD CABIN CREW.

Narrative: PAX WAS SMOKING THE AFT LAVATORY AND AS SOON AS HE CAME OUT THE LAVATORY, ANOTHER CREW MEMBER AND MYSELF SMELLED THE CIGARETTE SMOKE. THE PURSER APCHED THE PAX ASKING HIM IF HE WAS SMOKING. THE PAX DENIED THE WHOLE SIT, STATING THAT HE DID NOT SMOKE. ON OUR ARR IN SJU, PAX SVC MET THE FLT AND CONFRONTED THE PAX, MEANWHILE THE PAX DENIED THE WHOLE SIT. ALSO UPON LNDG, DURING ACTIVE TAXI-IN, THE PAX STOOD UP AND PROCEEDED TO OPEN OVERHEAD BIN, ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF OTHER PAX. ALSO, HIS FRIEND PROCEEDED TO COMPLAIN TO THE PURSER THAT HE WAS 'RUINING' THEIR VACATION BY CAUSING TROUBLE. THE PAX'S FRIEND ALSO CALLED THE PURSER A '%$&#@ SCUMBAG.' I PERSONALLY THINK THIS PAX SHOULD BE PRESSED WITH CHARGES, DUE TO THE FACT THAT HIS ATTITUDE WAS VERY OFFENSIVE AND WAS VERY RUDE TO THE PURSER. APPARENTLY, I THINK THE PAX EITHER HID THE CIGARETTES OR GAVE THEM TO ONE OF HIS FRIENDS. P.S. IF WE ARE GOING TO ENFORCE RULES WE MUST HAVE THE PROPER CHANNELS TO BACK US UP.
