Location: J36 at mineo fix. At FL310 we encountered moderate turbulence that caused the aircraft to deviate +400 ft altitude. Deviation was only momentary.

Title: TURB CAUSED FOKKER 100 TO CLB ABOVE ASSIGNED CRUISING ALT MOMENTARILY. FLC TURNED OFF AUTOPLT AND RETURNED TO ASSIGNED ALT IMMEDIATELY.
Narrative: LOCATION: J36 AT MINEO FIX. AT FL310 WE ENCOUNTERED MODERATE TURB THAT CAUSED THE ACFT TO DEVIATE +400 FT ALT. DEV WAS ONLY MOMENTARY.
