Narrative:

During cruise at 2000 ft MSL, oil started to stream from left engine. I performed a precautionary shutdown and continued as scheduled to cmi. At no time did I feel the safety of the flight was in danger and because of conditions (light weight, VMC, location) decided to continue to cmi. An uneventful landing followed.
