Narrative:
On apr/xa/99 I cadmium metal plated threads on a strut support. There is no specified notes sheet. I checked the engineering service order and it says to cadmium metal plate all over or optionally to electroless nickel all over. I followed the shop order but there is no note for the threads. I feel I need better instructions to process the part per the engineering service order.

Title: A B727-200 MAIN LNDG GEAR SUPPORT STRUT UPPER END HAS NO METAL PLATING SPECS FOR THE THREADS.
Narrative: ON APR/XA/99 I CADMIUM METAL PLATED THREADS ON A STRUT SUPPORT. THERE IS NO SPECIFIED NOTES SHEET. I CHKED THE ENGINEERING SVC ORDER AND IT SAYS TO CADMIUM METAL PLATE ALL OVER OR OPTIONALLY TO ELECTROLESS NICKEL ALL OVER. I FOLLOWED THE SHOP ORDER BUT THERE IS NO NOTE FOR THE THREADS. I FEEL I NEED BETTER INSTRUCTIONS TO PROCESS THE PART PER THE ENGINEERING SVC ORDER.
