Narrative:
On apr/xa/99 on aircraft X from hnl-dfw, I walked back on the plane after working the boarding. As I went down the r-hand side of the aircraft, I met a young boy walking toward me in the aisle. He carried a backpack and a large skateboard. I asked him if he needed help stowing the skateboard. He said he was looking for his parents. I offered to help him locate his family. As we walked down the aisle, a lady seated on the aisle stopped me and told me that she didn't think he belonged on this flight because he was sitting in her seat when she boarded. While I talked to her, he walked ahead of me and when I caught up with him he was trying to go into lavatory H (aft near door 4L). I grabbed the door and asked him where was his boarding pass. He said he was looking for his parents. I got on the phone and called the purser to tell him that we had a possible stowaway. He walked away from me again and tried to situation in seat xx, the only empty seat on the airplane. One of the flight attendants from up front came back and asked him again where was his boarding pass. He told her he had to find his sister. We got him out of the seat and took him to the boarding door and gave him to the agent. He refused to tell anyone his name. Meanwhile, flight attendant #2 and flight attendant #3 (who were in the main cabin) said he was the first passenger on board in the main cabin. When flight attendant #3 and I went out to board the passenger, the first to board at my electronic ticket reader were 2 first class passenger and a lady walking on a cane. The passenger seated in seat yy said the boy pushed them aside to board the airplane. I never saw him in the boarding area at the gate. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter re-emphasized her contention of putting a 10TH flight attendant on the DC10, because of lack of cabin coverage. She stated that the little boy had evaded police twice that day and had attempted to stow away on another flight bound for detroit. She said the boy carried an 'empty backpack' and a skateboard. The main reason they discovered they had a stowaway was that he tried to situation in this lady's assigned seat, and she notified a flight attendant.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT MULTIPLE RPT ON A STOWAWAY BOY ON DC10 HNL-DFW CAUGHT ON BOARDING IN HNL.
Narrative: ON APR/XA/99 ON ACFT X FROM HNL-DFW, I WALKED BACK ON THE PLANE AFTER WORKING THE BOARDING. AS I WENT DOWN THE R-HAND SIDE OF THE ACFT, I MET A YOUNG BOY WALKING TOWARD ME IN THE AISLE. HE CARRIED A BACKPACK AND A LARGE SKATEBOARD. I ASKED HIM IF HE NEEDED HELP STOWING THE SKATEBOARD. HE SAID HE WAS LOOKING FOR HIS PARENTS. I OFFERED TO HELP HIM LOCATE HIS FAMILY. AS WE WALKED DOWN THE AISLE, A LADY SEATED ON THE AISLE STOPPED ME AND TOLD ME THAT SHE DIDN'T THINK HE BELONGED ON THIS FLT BECAUSE HE WAS SITTING IN HER SEAT WHEN SHE BOARDED. HE WALKED AWAY FROM ME AGAIN AND TRIED TO SIT IN SEAT XX, THE ONLY EMPTY SEAT ON THE AIRPLANE. ONE OF THE FLT ATTENDANTS FROM UP FRONT CAME BACK AND ASKED HIM AGAIN WHERE WAS HIS BOARDING PASS. HE TOLD HER HE HAD TO FIND HIS SISTER. WE GOT HIM OUT OF THE SEAT AND TOOK HIM TO THE BOARDING DOOR AND GAVE HIM TO THE AGENT. HE REFUSED TO TELL ANYONE HIS NAME. MEANWHILE, FLT ATTENDANT #2 AND FLT ATTENDANT #3 (WHO WERE IN THE MAIN CABIN) SAID HE WAS THE FIRST PAX ON BOARD IN THE MAIN CABIN. WHEN FLT ATTENDANT #3 AND I WENT OUT TO BOARD THE PAX, THE FIRST TO BOARD AT MY ELECTRONIC TICKET READER WERE 2 FIRST CLASS PAX AND A LADY WALKING ON A CANE. THE PAX SEATED IN SEAT YY SAID THE BOY PUSHED THEM ASIDE TO BOARD THE AIRPLANE. I NEVER SAW HIM IN THE BOARDING AREA AT THE GATE. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR RE-EMPHASIZED HER CONTENTION OF PUTTING A 10TH FLT ATTENDANT ON THE DC10, BECAUSE OF LACK OF CABIN COVERAGE. SHE STATED THAT THE LITTLE BOY HAD EVADED POLICE TWICE THAT DAY AND HAD ATTEMPTED TO STOW AWAY ON ANOTHER FLT BOUND FOR DETROIT. SHE SAID THE BOY CARRIED AN 'EMPTY BACKPACK' AND A SKATEBOARD. THE MAIN REASON THEY DISCOVERED THEY HAD A STOWAWAY WAS THAT HE TRIED TO SIT IN THIS LADY'S ASSIGNED SEAT, AND SHE NOTIFIED A FLT ATTENDANT.
