Narrative:
Maintenance svced the oxygen system. Before departure, the captain and myself checked to make sure all doors and panels were securely closed by visually looking at them. Upon rotation at takeoff we heard a loud noise coming from the right side of the nose of the aircraft. We advised departure control that we needed to return to the airport for a landing. The captain advised me that he thought that the air driven generator had inadvertently deployed. He declared an emergency. We landed on runway 18R at cvg and taxied to the gate. Upon reaching the gate, maintenance advised us that it was the oxygen service door that popped open. In order for this not to happen again, I will be sure to physically touch the latches on any door or panel that could come open during flight. I won't rely upon visual inspection only. I'll be sure to pay special attention to those items that are opened and closed by those other than myself.

Title: NOISE OF OXYGEN SVC PANEL DOOR OPENING INFLT SHORTLY AFTER TKOF STARTLES FLC ENOUGH THAT THEY DECLARE EMER AND RETURN TO FIELD OF DEP AND LAND.
Narrative: MAINT SVCED THE OXYGEN SYS. BEFORE DEP, THE CAPT AND MYSELF CHKED TO MAKE SURE ALL DOORS AND PANELS WERE SECURELY CLOSED BY VISUALLY LOOKING AT THEM. UPON ROTATION AT TKOF WE HEARD A LOUD NOISE COMING FROM THE R SIDE OF THE NOSE OF THE ACFT. WE ADVISED DEP CTL THAT WE NEEDED TO RETURN TO THE ARPT FOR A LNDG. THE CAPT ADVISED ME THAT HE THOUGHT THAT THE AIR DRIVEN GENERATOR HAD INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED. HE DECLARED AN EMER. WE LANDED ON RWY 18R AT CVG AND TAXIED TO THE GATE. UPON REACHING THE GATE, MAINT ADVISED US THAT IT WAS THE OXYGEN SVC DOOR THAT POPPED OPEN. IN ORDER FOR THIS NOT TO HAPPEN AGAIN, I WILL BE SURE TO PHYSICALLY TOUCH THE LATCHES ON ANY DOOR OR PANEL THAT COULD COME OPEN DURING FLT. I WON'T RELY UPON VISUAL INSPECTION ONLY.
