Narrative:
Flying the pdz 3 arrival, we initiated descent to 15000 ft after passing amigo, thus missing the duedd crossing. I was the captain and the PNF. The first NOTAM gave an expectation to cross amigo at 16000 ft. The second NOTAM required use of raw data inside tejay intersection. To meet the requirement of the second NOTAM, I switched to raw data just before amigo. While in altitude hold before amigo the PF called for 15000 ft in the MCP. I complied by setting 15000 ft in the MCP. Then I began calculating my position using DME off the pdz VOR. After we passed amigo the PF started descent to 15000 ft instead of staying at 16000 ft. Passing 15700 ft approach called and asked, 'air carrier X confirm you're level at 16000 ft.' we halted the descent at that point. Approach also said, 'you're required to maintain 16000 ft until duedd.' approach then cleared us to descend to 15000 ft. I had penciled 16000 ft on my chart for amigo (per the NOTAM) but failed to emphasize that duedd was at the same altitude. In retrospect, I should have stayed in the map mode until it was necessary to be in raw data, thus providing better backup to the PF. Complicating factors: 1) having 2 intxns with the same crossing altitude. 2) trying to comply with 2 NOTAMS on the arrival. Extraneous information: fatigue. This was the end of the last leg of 5 days of flying, proceeded by an all-nighter. In addition, there was a band playing until early morning in the hotel court yard, making it difficult to get a nights sleep.

Title: FLC OF AN LGT OVERSHOT DSCNT ALT ON A STAR ARR PROC DUE TO PRESETTING A LOWER ALT. APCH CTLR ALERTED CREW TO ASSIGNED ALT.
Narrative: FLYING THE PDZ 3 ARR, WE INITIATED DSCNT TO 15000 FT AFTER PASSING AMIGO, THUS MISSING THE DUEDD XING. I WAS THE CAPT AND THE PNF. THE FIRST NOTAM GAVE AN EXPECTATION TO CROSS AMIGO AT 16000 FT. THE SECOND NOTAM REQUIRED USE OF RAW DATA INSIDE TEJAY INTXN. TO MEET THE REQUIREMENT OF THE SECOND NOTAM, I SWITCHED TO RAW DATA JUST BEFORE AMIGO. WHILE IN ALT HOLD BEFORE AMIGO THE PF CALLED FOR 15000 FT IN THE MCP. I COMPLIED BY SETTING 15000 FT IN THE MCP. THEN I BEGAN CALCULATING MY POS USING DME OFF THE PDZ VOR. AFTER WE PASSED AMIGO THE PF STARTED DSCNT TO 15000 FT INSTEAD OF STAYING AT 16000 FT. PASSING 15700 FT APCH CALLED AND ASKED, 'ACR X CONFIRM YOU'RE LEVEL AT 16000 FT.' WE HALTED THE DSCNT AT THAT POINT. APCH ALSO SAID, 'YOU'RE REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN 16000 FT UNTIL DUEDD.' APCH THEN CLRED US TO DSND TO 15000 FT. I HAD PENCILED 16000 FT ON MY CHART FOR AMIGO (PER THE NOTAM) BUT FAILED TO EMPHASIZE THAT DUEDD WAS AT THE SAME ALT. IN RETROSPECT, I SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN THE MAP MODE UNTIL IT WAS NECESSARY TO BE IN RAW DATA, THUS PROVIDING BETTER BACKUP TO THE PF. COMPLICATING FACTORS: 1) HAVING 2 INTXNS WITH THE SAME XING ALT. 2) TRYING TO COMPLY WITH 2 NOTAMS ON THE ARR. EXTRANEOUS INFO: FATIGUE.
