Narrative:
While I was landing on runway 6, touched down too quickly and plane lifted up and came down hard. I then applied full power and performed a go around. I was worried I had damaged the propeller and informed the tower. They asked if I would like to declare an emergency. I declared an emergency on the downwind leg of the pattern (I believe I was #1 for runway 6 anyway and no traffic was delayed) and landed on runway 6. After taxiing off the active, I informed ground I needed to go back to the FBO to check for propeller damage. The propeller was damaged. This was my second solo flight.
