Narrative:
First officer copied ATIS and did not remember hearing 'ILS hold line in use.' as I taxied up to the ILS hold, I noticed that the B737 in front of me had taxied to the taxiway B4 hold. As he taxied onto runway, I taxied up to the taxiway B4 hold line. I asked the first officer if the ATIS said hold at the ILS hold line, and he said that he didn't hear it during the ATIS. Once airborne, and out of the lga area, I had him check the ATIS. Sure enough, he had missed the 'ILS hold line in use.'
