Narrative:
While reaching for the landing gear handle to raise the gear on takeoff, I hit a bird. The bird went into the right engine. Though the fan speed stayed normal, we were not climbing as fast as we should and had some vibration. At top of climb, decided to shut engine down and land at the nearest airport with facilities for us. Lgb has a citation service center and was close, so I landed there without incident.
