Narrative:
We were advised by FSS regarding the 'special warning area' near annapolis due to special event operations. We were advised that anp was open, and that its pattern was not in the warning area. The fellow pilot called FSS. While on final approach to anp, we were advised that anp was closed. We exited the pattern to the southwest at that time. The person advising us was on the ground at anp. We later found out that anp was closed until XA15. There was an apparent disconnect between anp and FSS personnel. No problem occurred as a result of this possible airspace incursion.
