Narrative:
Leading edge flap transit light remained on with flaps at 1 degree. Performed abnormal checklist. With additional flap extension flap indication indicated normal. Performed normal flaps 30 degrees landing, as per abnormal checklist. Suspect flap handle was not fully down in the detent for flaps 1 degree gate. Human factor wise: textbook performance -- we took our time and everything worked out great.
