Narrative:
Approximately 30 mi west of niket intersection on R471 (sin-nrt), captain was advised by flight attendant of an accident causing serious injury to flight attendant. A doctor answered the summons for medical assistance and after evaluation, recommended immediate medical attention due to serious facial injury. Advised dispatch and agreed to divert to hkg. Was met by medical assistance and flight attendant taken to hospital, continued to nrt.

Title: A B747-400 FLT DIVERTS TO HONG KONG WHEN IT IS NOTED THAT A FLT ATTENDANT HAD SUSTAINED FACIAL INJURIES REQUIRING IMMEDIATE TREATMENT.
Narrative: APPROX 30 MI W OF NIKET INTXN ON R471 (SIN-NRT), CAPT WAS ADVISED BY FLT ATTENDANT OF AN ACCIDENT CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY TO FLT ATTENDANT. A DOCTOR ANSWERED THE SUMMONS FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND AFTER EVALUATION, RECOMMENDED IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTN DUE TO SERIOUS FACIAL INJURY. ADVISED DISPATCH AND AGREED TO DIVERT TO HKG. WAS MET BY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE AND FLT ATTENDANT TAKEN TO HOSPITAL, CONTINUED TO NRT.
