Narrative:
While taxiing to runway 27L at ord per ATC instructions, we were stopped with our parking brake set at taxiway M just short of taxiway F going to runway 27L in a line-up. ATC had cleared an air carrier B747-400 to cross runway 27L at taxiway F. Our nose of the aircraft was too far into taxiway F for the B747 to get through. The pilot of the B747 did not realize that he did not have enough room to pass. He had no intention to stop, they plowed straight through us with great speed. The first officer called ATC to tell B747 to stop, and fortunately they were able to stop about 30-40 ft prior to hitting us. Supplemental information from acn 439773: intended to plow straight through us with his left outboard engine.

Title: A TAXIING B747-400 NEARLY COLLIDES WITH A HOLDING ACR MLG AT TXWY F AT ORD, IL.
Narrative: WHILE TAXIING TO RWY 27L AT ORD PER ATC INSTRUCTIONS, WE WERE STOPPED WITH OUR PARKING BRAKE SET AT TXWY M JUST SHORT OF TXWY F GOING TO RWY 27L IN A LINE-UP. ATC HAD CLRED AN ACR B747-400 TO CROSS RWY 27L AT TXWY F. OUR NOSE OF THE ACFT WAS TOO FAR INTO TXWY F FOR THE B747 TO GET THROUGH. THE PLT OF THE B747 DID NOT REALIZE THAT HE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ROOM TO PASS. HE HAD NO INTENTION TO STOP, THEY PLOWED STRAIGHT THROUGH US WITH GREAT SPD. THE FO CALLED ATC TO TELL B747 TO STOP, AND FORTUNATELY THEY WERE ABLE TO STOP ABOUT 30-40 FT PRIOR TO HITTING US. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 439773: INTENDED TO PLOW STRAIGHT THROUGH US WITH HIS L OUTBOARD ENG.
