Controller overworked with last min WX reroutes. Tmu was no help. At XP30 pm, they want to go home. Controller intended to stop LJ35 (Y) at FL240 but climb to FL280. MD80 (X) TCASII climb to FL260 to avoid LJ35. LJ35 was stopped and taken back to FL240.
