Narrative:
Another flight attendant and I were sitting there talking, when all of a sudden the plane dropped. We had not been warned of this, so it took us by surprise. 2 carts were sitting near a rear exit and began rocking. The flight attendant with me jumped up, without injury, and secured one of the rocking carts. The turbulence became too much and she quickly sat down. We stayed buckled in our seats for about 10-15 mins before the cockpit called to let us know we could resume our duties. I was later informed that 2 of the flight attendants in our crew may have sustained injuries in the rush to secure carts or return to their jump seats.
