Narrative:
IRU shift, diversion to jfk. On takeoff from rdu, we think we had a map shift on the IRU's. We were 400 mi off track when airborne. We checked the position at the gate with the first officer reading gate position and captain and first officer verifying what was in the FMC. Landed jfk at 318000 pounds 200 ft rate of sink.
