Narrative:
After landing from my first IOE flight. I contacted ground control. We were given instructions to the ramp which contained 2 different txwys. I started the after landing flow and checklist as commanded by the captain. Seconds later ground control told us that we were on the wrong taxiway and to stop to allow another aircraft to exit the runway to our left. Contributing factors: new to airport, last flight of day, IOE, reading checklist at a point where I should have been helping and watching the captain. Corrective actions: pay more attention outside than inside when initiating taxi instructions. Complete checklist when safe to do so.
